Having lived in Denver for so long, I do many of the same routes, like Lookout Mountain over and over. By exploring a few dirt roads around Cody Park and Mt Vernon, it made this ride feel like a really fresh and different experience.
There is always a little bit of suffering on a gravel ride with this much climbing!
Do this ride if you want to slow down, add some quiet dirt roads and do some additional climbing on your usual trip up Lookout Mountain.
